REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP NO. DIB2022-01
DESIGN-BUILD SHADE SHELTERS
The Panama City Downtown Improvement Board (hereinafter referred to “OWNER” or “DIB”) will accept sealed proposals for the Design-Build of two new Shade Shelters in Panama City, Florida until 2:00 p.m., CST, on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the Purchasing Department, Room 107, 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, Florida, 32401. Proposals must be plainly marked “RFP NO. DIB2022-01: DESIGN-BUILD SHADE SHELTERS – OCTOBER 26, 2022”. The successful proposer for this project will be responsible for its design and construction.
Work consists of designing, permitting, and constructing two new shade shelters at an existing Skate Park located in downtown Panama City, Florida. The project will include site planning, preparation of construction documents, permitting, and construction.
The shade shelters are intended to be constructed with high quality materials to ensure durability. The budget for this work is $30,000.00.

All written inquiries and responses will be submitted as addenda and will be e-mailed to those on the list of potential proposers. Interested parties are encouraged to provide their e-mail and contact information to Mandy O’Regan at moregan@anchorcei.com upon request of obtaining the proposal documents if intending to submit a proposal on this the project. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to determine if any addenda have been issued.
A cashier’s check or bank draft payable to the order of City of Panama City Development Improvement Board, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Proposer and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposed price shall be submitted with each proposal on the form provided by DIB.
Local Vendor Preference will NOT apply. The successful proposer will be required to submit a list of his subcontractors for approval before award of contract.
The OWNER (DIB) reserves the right to reject any one or all proposals, or any part of any proposal, to waive any informalities in any proposal, and to award a contract deemed to be in the best interest of DIB.
